What Causes Painful Lump On The Neck?

Hi. My 8 year old daughter began complaining of a small bump on the left side of her neck. It moves a bit when I touch it. She does say that it is sore and hurts when she moves her neck. She has no fever or other symptoms. The bump is about the size of a pea. Any idea on what this might be?
