What Causes Painful Lump On Upper Corner Of Left Eye?
Hi, At the upper corner of my left eye, near the nose I can feel a lump accompanied with a pain when touched, the best way to describe the pain is like touching a bruise. It s been 3 days and my upper eyelid is swollen and my lower eyelid is starting to swell. My vision is fine, my eye doesn t hurt when I move it, it s just teary. I was thinking it was a boil or a sty but I don t see a white spot.

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having acute dacrocystitis i.e. swelling and inflammation in naso-lacrimal duct producing this type of picture.
Put antibiotic eye drops 2-3 hourly.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course for 5 days.
Go for hot fomentation on eye.
Ok and take care.
