What Causes Painful Lumps In Between Leg And Crotch?

I am female and have some lumps (under the skin) where my leg meets my crotch. Sort of where the panty line is. I wear gstrings so it s not from my panty rubbing. They range in size from a pea size to double that size. Thay can be quite painful at times yet fine and just there also. Any suggestions to what these are?

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Lump in leg can be due to lymph node enlargement. Painful lump can be due to infection. I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC). FNAC is an office procedure done to assess the nature of cells in the swelling.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
