What Causes Painful Lumps In The Pubic Area?

I have several painful lumps on my bikni line on either side that are bruised. They come and go in different sizes but are incredibly painful. I dont shave that area so i dont think its an ingrown hair. I have no health insurance to see a doctor and its really making life difficult. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that they are ingrown hair as you mentioned.

If you can see where the hair is ingrown, using a tweezers to remove the re entering hair would help speed up resolution of your symptoms.

Apply a warm compress (cloth) the area for 10 to 15 minutes, 2 to 3 times a day, this would help to soothe it and help with any drainage.

The use of medication like cataflam, ibuprofen or naproxen would also help with the pain.

These are over the counter meds so you should be able to get one of these.

I hope this helps
