What Causes Painful Menstrual Bleeding After A C-section?
I was wondering if I should worry...I. had a c-section almost 8 months ago. After that I had a normal period then I went 3 months without one. Now I have had a period for almost 4 weeks. Its pretty painful and the blood flow goes from medium to heavy. I just need to know if this is normal. I am overweight. Also I took several pregnancy test all of wich were negative. Thank you.

Irregular periods post delivery is common, sometimes bleeding is very scanty and sometimes heavy. If you are still breastfeeding your baby then this symptoms are more likely to occur, it will become normal with time. If bleeding is very heavy and is causing much discomfort then consult your doctor and get ultrasound done.
