Hi,

Sometimes, you may experience painful menstruation following stopping of birth control pills, as the body would take certain time for hormones to be back to normal. In such circumstances, you can take antispasmodic medication containing Dicyclomine with Mefenamic acid, which will help to get relief from pain and spasms.

However, it would be ideal for you to take an ultrasound scan and consult Obstetrician with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
