Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Painful Muscles In Body With Abdominal Pain And Gas?
Yes, for the past 2 days I have not felt well. It seems like every bone in my body hurts and I have lower GI track gas that I can t seem to pass very much and it is very painful. I may have a temp. but not sure because I have misplaced my thermometer. Can you help?
As per my clinical experience, the myalgia (painful muscles) with abdomen gas and pain are inter related. The basic pathology of abdomen pain has begun through bacterial infection most likely food or water induced. The feverish feeling and painful muscles are secondary sequences of underlying inflammatory condition via cytokine release in response of the body systems.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
