What Causes Painful Neck Movements After An Injury?

hello , so yesterday i was dancing and doing some excersice when i twisted my neck and could move because the pain was BIIIIG, i slept 1 night and the pain it still on. it hurts only on 1 side and i cant turn my head at all . it seems like i have a bone stuck into my head that doesnt allow me to move it and when i try to move its like i will wake up the whole neighbourhood in screams . did i break my neck and what should i do.
