What Causes Painful Pea Sized Bruise On Tricep?

I had a pea size bruise on my left tricep on the inside of my arm yesterday morning and in24 hours it has doubled in size( but it s not round). It has a white part that is surrounding the bruise now and has a red rash that goes around the white part. It s very tender and it s pretty painful. Any help would be much appreciated

hi. I have read your question and understand your concern.

the red tender rash with a white center is a furuncle. it's a bacterial infection. you need to take a course of antibiotics.

if such a patient visited my clinic I would prescribe tab augmentin 625 mg thrice daily and t-bact cream twice daily. along with these I would also prescribe pain killers like tab voveran twice daily.

I suggest you visit your dermatologist and get a prescription for antibiotics.

hope this was helpful. for any further questions please get back to us. thanks.
