What Causes Painful Periods With Throbbing Knee And Elbow Pain?

hello i am 47 yrs old, i m abt to have menopause because my periods are now painful and fluctuates n i have complain of thrombing pain in my right knee and elbow ? do i started to take shalcal tablets? so that i would not prone to osteoporosis????if yes what is the recomended dosage for me to have these tablet and with water or with milk i have to take this medicine???
