What Causes Painful Pimple Like Bumps On Roof Of Mouth?

I have a few small red bumps on the roof of my mouth that have a white dot in the middle of them. They sort of look like a pimple with a white head. It is very painful to swallow and I am slightly tired. Other than that no other symptoms. I am 22, 5'10" and 145 pounds.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
I went through your history & would like to ask you do you have any such ulceration on genitals also? Secondly do you have skin rashes in all your limbs? have you recently had unprotected sex?
If you have all these symptoms then it could be syphilitic ulcer & has transferred to you through your partner.
You need to go for STD tests & if positive then treated accordingly.

Various other reasons could be:-
- due to thermal injury due to excessive hot intake
- due to gastric problem
- due to hormonal changes
- due to some trauma
- due to some infection like chicken pox

Consult your physician/dentist for consultation & in the meanwhile you could apply dologel ointment over the lesions. This will reduce pain & infection
