What Causes Painful Rash On The Ankles And Buttocks?
I have painfully sore rash like thing on both ankles and now on both butt cheeks in crack the whole length of it which started 2 weeks ago roughly but gotten bigger past week. The ankles started in August and spots have gotten bigger and more. Both areas ooze as well. Been seeing dermatologist who has no clue what is thought eczema then psoriasis but now with it weeping no clue. Is extremely painful difficult to walk or sit or sleep. Not had much itching can barely touch it let alone itch tho butt area couple spots at top do itch bit. Been using colbatisal ointment from start then he put me on calcipotriene ointment as well with it. Now starting light therapy. I just want to chop off ankles cause so much pain. I am 5 footish 175lb female. Walking funny cause ankles and butt also causing pain in hips and back.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of painful rash on the ankles and buttocks which occurs due to allergic reaction due to detergent, soap, an animal bite or an insect sting, and it could be due to infection of hair follicle.
Need not to worry. You should apply cold compresses and avoid any cosmetic product. You should wear loose clothes and avoid frictional heat due to constant rubbing. For now take benadryl twice a day. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe antihistamine , corticosteroid ointment and may give adrenaline short. Avoid touching or picking rash. Maintain complete hygiene.
