What Causes Painful Red Blotches On The Knee?
Sitting in the sun with a pair of jeans on and after a few minutes my legs felt as though they were burning. I sat there for about 5 more minutes and then came into the house. My upper knees covered with red blotches and felt as though I had a very bad sunburn. After an hour or so they went away. Is there a cause for this and should I be concerned?

Hi,
This might be hives that form on your legs secondary to some allergen and when that allergen is gone the hives settled. This is a form of allergic reaction. Try avoiding the same conditions in which hives form and get an allergy test done.
