What Causes Painful Red Spots On A Child S Body?
My 11 year old grandson has presented with more than 30 red spots covering his chest and abdomen and beginning to present on the upper thighs. They are painful to the touch but not itching at this point. There is no head nor does there appear to be any pus. Any thoughts?

Hello,
I think this can be varicella. Dont wash him and use menthol talcum on the rash. Use cetirizine to help itching
