Hi iam Dr shah .I am in USA since Nov 2 2015.it very cold here and I have got boil on upper lip at the centre. It s reddish and there is lot of pain ,also radiating to cheeks.my urine has also turned yellowish in color.I want to know the cause behind the issue& treatment as well.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of painful reddish boil on upper lip. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like cyst, hematoma, mucocele or a benign growth of the lips. Need not to worry. Keep area moisturized with petroleum jelly and drink plenty of fluids. I would suggest you to consult oral pathologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically and take sample for lab test . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( amoxicillin ) , corticosteroid cream or may remove surgically under local anesthesia . For now apply warm compresses and maintain proper hygiene .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
