What Causes Painful Ribs And Difficulty Breathing?

My 16 year old daughter has been saying that her ribs hurt off and on for several months and she says sometimes its hard to breathe. She has since been put on medication for anxiety issues. This pain is definitely not because of any heart or lung cause.so no need to panic about that.it seems to be musculoskeletal in origin . It may be because of costochondritis that responds very well to pain killer or may be because of muscle spasm that subside by it self.for any anxiety like features If you think so discuss with your daughter the root cause . otherwise some placebo treatment can be given in these situations . Such as any multivitamin or calcium .information she is anaemic this must be diagnosed and treated properly. .hope this will help.
