What Causes Painful Right Arm Along With Cold?

My mom has a cold right now and for some reason she has been complaining of her right arm and her right side hurting. I looked it up online and it stated that these are signs of a heart attack I dont want to worry her but should i insist that she go to the er?

Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. As your mother is having cold she can have myalgia or arthralgia which can be sign of viral fever. But if she has discomfort or pain in chest and radiating pain to shoulder hand or back then an ecg should be taken to rule out any cardiac problems. For cold she should get proper rest. You can give her tea with lemon chicken soup with pepper and vitamin c. For such case i advise Antihistamines and local decongestants if nasal congestion is more and acetaminophen if fever and body pain is present. Hope this may help you.
