What Causes Painful Scabs On The Penis?
Dr. Rynne,I have noticed that I have small scabs on my penis as well as my lower stomach above my penis. this developed over the weekend and have gradually gone away but there are still about nine on my penis. They do not hurt or burn and it is not painful to urinate. The only time they hurt are when I apply pressure or directly touch them. Also, this morning I put pressure on where my groin and pelvis area come together and noticed what feels like bumps/lumps on each side where my leg bends. Those hurt pretty bad when I put pressure on them but they do not hurt in everyday activities.

It could be eczema with secondary infection. As of now, you can apply topical antibiotics like mupirocin for symptomatic relief. If lesion persists better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
