Hi

Sexual intercourse can cause swelling of labia and vagina since they are very soft tissue. Rough sex,Large phallus size, intercourse multiple times can also increase the trauma.

Swelling and bruise may take a few days to reduce. It is essential to avoid any physical contact until the wound subsides. Insufficient lubrication and increased friction can also cause increased soreness.

Ice pack covered with a cotton cloth can reduce labial swelling and bruise. Antibiotics can be continued for five more days in order to prevent infections. Antibiotic cream can also be applied at the the areas.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
