What Causes Painful Sore Throat With A Purple Vein Along The Tonsil?
Woke up this morning with the right side of my throat being very sore. Look down my throat to find a strange purple vein going through my right tonsil. My throat hurts loads when I swallow I have no idea what this could be ? There is no puss on my tonsils at all but I m in a lot of pain

This is probably bacterial tinsilitis and you should see ent doctor and do examination to see if antibiotics are required. till,that,have propolis,warm chamomile tea and rest.
