What Causes Painful Sores In The Nostrils?

I have sores in my nostrils that start to clear up then they start up again with scabbing. It started a year ago on one side then seemed to take turns from one side to another and now it s both sides at same time. Then since October 2016 my thumbs got a slit from thumbnail down starting also with right thumb and now both. The slits burn and throb on both thumbs and really hurts bad just to touch or bump them. They seem like they re healing and just likethat will split open again. They seem like stupid complaints so they get ignored when I tell a doctor but I can t take this anymore!

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to fungal or bacterial infection. Moist area can cause such infection. Using creams containing antifungal agents like miconazole, antibacterial like neomycin and corticosteroid like betamethasone for local application will be helpful.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
