Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
In the last 7 years I have had numerous surgeries. I have had out part of my intestine, apendex, hysterectomy, carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists, gastric bypass, part of my liver and part of my lung were taken as well as my complete stomach to make a few. For some reason, and this is my question... I have been getting hurting spasms in the palm of my hands. When it starts, it s like it pushes back. I can feel dumb it and it will stop. However, I have been getting these more frequently. Any ideas? Thank you.
The possible spasms in palm are in concern with the previous surgery of carpel tunnel. I recommend an MRI of the hand to find out the underlying cause and treat accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
