What Causes Painful Sunken Soft Lump On The Buttocks?

When I was small I had a lump on my butt as my parents had forgotton to rub my butt after injecting a booster. So I was recommended for an operation but I had taken homeopathic medication and it had helped to remove it. But now I m 20 and on the area of the lump it has sunken more than before and if put too much pressure it hurts a bit . what should I do?

Hello,

It could be a hematoma.

As of now you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

You can apply icepacks for faster recovery.

If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
