General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
It may be cellulitis. Please visit your primary physician at the earliest. If neglected it may spread to the deeper layers (fascia) and it needs surgical intervention then
to prevent recurrent cellulitis, You should not hurt your hand/ injure your hand. You should keep your sugars under control
Wishing you speedy recovery..
