What Causes Painful Swelling In Knees, Ankles And Elbows?

I have had swelling and pain in my knees, ankles, elbows for about a month now. I can hardly bend my knees, making it very painful to sit, stand and walk. Now I m beginning to experience some soreness in my shoulders, as well. What do you think is wrong?

You have Polyarthralgia. You need to get tested for Rheumatoid arthritis and other arthritis. Apply hot packs or ice to the painful regions, whichever gives you relief. Consult a Rheumatologist. Take pain killers.
