What Causes Painful Swelling In Leg And Knee With A Hollow Area On Inner Thigh?

I have pain in my right leg. It seems external on the knee. The inner edge below the knee I think the tendon. If it stops swelling from ice and knee brace i hear the tendon snap back in. The pain leaves. But 2 days ago I noticed a hole appeared in the muscle about 1/2 way up to crotch on the inner thigh. A big hollow place suddenly appeared. It feels lumpy around it like marbles under there. The knee pain started when I got off a four hr flight and could barely walk to meet my ride. This indentation appeared suddenly like 6 months later.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, as long as the pain is concern infection need to be ruled out it may be fasciitis, in differential diagnosis it may be muscular spasm, it may be circulatory disturbances, analgesic can be used and best would be Tab Ibuprofen with Acetaminophen three times in day, try to keep the leg in elevated position hope this information helps.
