What Causes Painful Swelling In The Right Side Of The Abdomen?

I m a 48 year old male and have pain and swelling in my stomach on the right side towards the ribcage. Also I m experiencing for several days bleeding from my belly button and black tary stool. There are so many different diagnosis with all these symptoms. I will say the pain is at its peak when I m asleep and for the first few hours of my day. My right side stops hurting unless I move a certain way or push down on it.(Really I thought this was to help people not another way to make a profit. Thanks for nothing)

Hello

Your condition indicates for Portal hypertension. This occurs when the large portal vein that carries blood from intestines to the liver has higher than normal blood pressure. Most common cause of it is cirrhosis.

You should immediately get checked nd perform tests such as ct scan,MRI, ultrasound, liver biopsy.

You should get medication to reduce portal pression.A blood transfusion it may be needed for severe bleeding

Hope this helps .kind regards
