Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had an excruciating pain in all my teeth at the same time. It was similar to the pain I had with a kidney stone. Without pain killers I would have felt like killing myself it was that bad. It lasted about 12 hours and occurred again the next day. I am hoping it will not return tonight
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain sudden pain in all teeth that is severe and excruciating and comes and goes seems to be probably due to nerve induced pain leading to Neuralgia and does not seems to be related to any teeth or gum infection.. As it has already occurred twice, you need to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray, MRI scan etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.. In case of nerve induced pain you can be advised neurotic painkillers like Carbamazipine, Gabapentin etc.. At times if there is nerve compression nerve decompression techniques are followed surgically for relief..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
