What Causes Painful Thumb After An Injury?

I was doing a double leg take down move in CSW on a guy who was tall and heavy. I took him down and i fell with im, landed on my thumb that bent all the way back. I stayed for karate and did alot of punches. Now it hurts when i move it back, and even down, and if i circular the righr side starts to hurt(right thumb) so do uk what it could be? Rn its really swollen, and ice didnt help
