What Causes Painful Tonsil And Pain While Breathing?

My right tonsil has been EXTREMELY tender for the last few days or so.. I ve had pus on the back of my throat and the pain is so terrible even breathing hurts it. It also shoots up to my ear drum and my right lymph node on my neck is about the size of a golf ball. I noticed about a day ago that a piece of my tonsil is actually hanging offand I can feel it. I m not sure what to do. The pain is so bad, it keeps me up at night and gives me body aches and chills

i had gone through your question..i have seen many patients with similar complaints..the symptoms indicative of pus collection around tonsil..we call it as quinsy..the main stay of treatment for this condition is pus drainage and antibiotic course..and analgesics for pain relief..
