What Causes Painful Urination After A Laparoscopic Surgery?

Please help me! Today,I had had robotic lapriscopic umbilical hernia repair with mesh. I ve been home for 3 hours and I am peeing with great difficlulty and pain every 3 minutes or so. The stream starts and is very painful but the stream stops before I feel i m done...then I have to pee again a few minutes later. Since 730, I ve pee d 16 times and pee d my shorts at least 10 of those 16 after I htink I m done. PLEASE Help. I cannot afford to pay on this site. Please help me

itmight be related to surgery. so consult the surgeon who operated for review and post operative advise for tackling the complication
