What Causes Painful Urination Along With Blood Drainage?

I have trouble urinating, is painfully. Last week urine contained to blobs of blood then urine turned to bloody stream for 10 seconds then next time I urinated only a negligible trace of blood then no more. Problem has been going on for about three weeks and I thought it would just go away.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

Painful urination with blood in urine is not normal

You should be investigated with urine routine microscopic examination to look for pus cells if present and also for protein estimation

It seems to be acute urethritis like acute urinary tract infection

It can be glomerulonephritis, STDs, Cystitis etc..

Investigate with USG abdomen also to look for kidney or bladder affection

You need to given antibiotic course for 7 days for urinary tract infection

Drink more water

Avoid excess spicy foods

Fruit juices to be taken more

Hope your concern solved

Take care
