What Causes Painful Urination And Brown Vaginal Discharge?

So i was fingering my girlfriend yesterday, and I noticed blood on my fingers after, so I told her and we thought it was her period coming, cause it’s a few days away but she said it hurt when she peed and that it was more like a discharge from inside and was brownish instead of red, we have had sex, about three weeks before and I didn’t cum because it was only for like a minute but, what could it be, could she be pregnant, or is it just her period or could I have cut/tore something because I did try three fingers, and I tried using my thumb, none of this caused discomfort though, she seemed pleased, what do you think it could be?
