My daughter is 18 and always been healthy..This past year she has had a recurring sickness of strep flu or something similar the would be treated antibiotics and come back a couple of weeks later..Also these symptoms..Painful/itchy when wiping to pee, uncomfortable sitting,shaking, chest pains, inability to take full breaths, pain when trying to insert a tampon and Always tired..
Good afternoon. Thanks for the query. Your daughter has pain during urination and also when she is wiping after urination along with history of recurrent flu. She should be checked for immune system. Right now, she should undergo following investigations. Complete blood count, ESR, C- reactive proteins. Liver function test, kidney funcion tests Urine analysis, vaginal swab. Look for thyroid function tests as she is suffering from occasional palpitations. Ultrasound abdomen and pelvis to look for source of infection. Check for any enlarge lymphnodes in the neck, armpit or groin area. Any abnormality in the lab result should be further investigated. I hope this will be helpful to you.
