What Causes Painful Urination During Periods?

I m currently on my period and whenever I feel like I have to pee (which is a lot more than normal) I go pee and there is pain in my lower abdomen. A little bit will come out but then it hurts too much to keep trying so I stop. After a few minutes I feel like I have to pee again and the same thing happes. I m freaking out.

its most likely due to urinary tract infection
you should do urine analysis to be sure if there's infection or not
