What Causes Painful Urination, Urge To Urinate Frequently And Back Pain?

I am experiencing painful urination. The feeling of need to go but don t really need to. Sever pain in my mid to upper back. Also when I breath it feels more like I don t want to take full breathes because of the back pain which is also a dull pain in my front rib cage area. This has been going on for about 3 days now. yesterday I also had a sudden feeling of vaginal pain inside sharp pulsating pain. I ve had that before when using tampons. But I m not on my period. This months period was not normal. I had light spotting for 2 days with a day in between. I ve also been having pain in my ovaries though it was much stronger before my period mostly on my left side. Now its more of a dull pain. I did see my ob when I was experiencing that but he said it was normal. I also have Fibrocystic breats. I really don t want to go to the ER. I have a dr. app tomorrow. I would like your opinion of diagnosis and if I can wait it out or should really go to the er.

The pain on urination may be due to an infection, this is one of the more common causes.

To determine if this is the case, you would need to have a urine test done. An initial one can be done at your doctor's office , urine may also need to be sent to the lab.

Antibiotics may be needed along with an increase in fluid intake.
