What Causes Painful Urination While Smoking Marijuana?

I am an avid marijuana smoker and have been diagnosed with sarcoidosis. I have recently been seeing a urologist for a kidney blockage of some kind. (not stones) I had a stint put in last week. I notice a little burning when I urinate. Will smoking interfere w this?

Hello,

I think that you have a Urinary Infection and you will need to test your urine for microbes. There is no effect of smoking marijuana and the problem that you have.

Maybe sarkoidosis is the reason for kidney stone or abnormal masses or nodules (called granulomas) that alter the normal structure and possibly the function of the affected organ(s). Take an appointment with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
