What Causes Painful Urination With Traces Of Blood Post Testicle Removal?

I am a 24 year old male who has had a testicle removed ~5 years ago, and at least once per year there will be pain while urinating, with traces of blood, due to stress. It would clear up within a day. However, I have had the worst case of it on Wednesday and has continued to get better, but would just have blood come out instead of it mixed with urine. Now there s still scant traces of blood as of today, Friday, but little specks of red, sort of solid in appearance. Is this tissue?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Painful urination and blood in urine can be related to a urinary tract infection.

I suggest doing a urine test to confirm the diagnosis.

If the diagnosis is confirmed I suggest using a cycle of prescribed antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
