What Causes Painful Vagina Along With Increased Discharge?

HI I just started a new sexual relationship and yesterday my vagina has been hurting and it kinda seems like the area around the vagina is inflamed and it hurts alot when wipe plus it seems like I have had vagina discharge more what could be causing this?
