What Causes Painful Vaginal Opening With Yellow Chunky Discharge Post Sex?

Recently, I started having sex with a new guy, and we are in an exclusive sexual relationship now for about 5 months. We had sex Thursday. Friday I had a lot of watery discharge no pain, itch, or smell. Then Friday night I noticed a yellow/green chunky discharge, like chicken fat, very small amount still no smell or itch. Saturday I started having severe pain when urinating and when anything touches my vaginal opening. Very painful. I took a mirror to look at the area and I have redness on the inner lips and opening that looks like the skin is missing. I have noticed blood. I am close to my monthly so I tried to insert a tampon. It hurt so I had to take it out. Do I have some type of infection or did I just hurt myself during sex? Still no smell and the yellow/green discharge I don t see.

Hi.

I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.

Your presenting complaint of Yellow / green discharge may be due to protozoal /bacterial /yeast infections like Trichomoniasis /Bacterial vaginosis or Vaginal Thrush, which mostly spreads through sexual intercourse.

I would advice you to,
1. Maintain good hygiene and wash your vagina with soap warm water regularly.
2.  Avoid feminine products & using tampons as it may worsen your symptoms
3. Use soft cotton undergarments
4. Have safe sex
5. Take Antibiotics or candid V1 vaginal tablets for 6days
7. Oral contraceptives if any used, should be temporarily stopped.
8. Daily Sitz bath & Analgesics to relieved of pain
