I believe the vein in my left wrist burst today. I work in a factory and am constantly lifting and pushing heavy materials and equipment . I noticed large bumps that were very painful about 4 years ago and the doctor told me not to worry about it as it wasn t anything serious, now I am second questing weather I should have gotten a second opinion. It happened out of no where, I had a pain run through my wrist and when I looked down my wrist was black and blue with the vein bulging out. Should I consult a doctor or will this just go away?
Your wrist was black due to oozing of blood from the vein under the skin. This will disappear with the passage of time. While at work use wrist cap which will prevent injury to the veins.
