What Causes Painful White Spots On The Roof Of Mouth?

Why is the top of my mouth white and hurts... It's behind of my front teeth and it's been like this for two years now. It started after I had surgery on my stomach and I had a stint put in my bladder.... Ever since then it gets very sore and it's white... Can you help me please.

As per your complain it seems that white appearance of roof of mouth along with soreness seems to be due to fungal infection also known as Oral Thrush..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like microscopic examination of the scraping from the palate çan help in confirming the cause..
In case if Thrush is the diagnosis you can be advised to take antifungal medicines..
You can be advised to gargle with Nystatin mouthwash..
You can suck throat lozenges..
Gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine to relieve soreness..
Take ample of Probiotics like Yoghurt and Garlic..
Drink plenty of water..
Maintain a good Oral hygiene..
