What Causes Painfully Swollen And Bruised Shin?

I bumped my shin trying to get on a Jet ski. When i got on my shin was indented. After awhile it looked like a softball size knot. Three days later my leg at injury spot down is swelled and bruised. Should i be concerned. It sometimes feels like a burning stinging pain in injury spot

It's my first priority to help you.
Well as per your description,I would recommend to see your doctor for a clinical exam to rule out underlying possible cause like Muscle contusion,Compartment syndrome which can be serious.
I would recommend to elevate your leg.
Also apply cool compresses.
And take OTC Motrin.
See a doctor ASAP or visit emergency room.
