What Causes Painfully Swollen Ankles?
I am a cleaner, and last night at work felt this terrible pain in my ankles. I sat down for about 5min, but the pain still there. When I got home, I took a nice hot bath and noticed the dark red mark just above my ankles and swollen as well, and very painful. What cause this, should I go and see my GP. I can hardly walk this morning

A dark red mark above ankle could be due to local irritation or skin infection or just ankle pain/swelling post stress/strain.Your description is not very clear.However, i will suggest you take an anti-inflammatory pain drug like ibuprofen, rest well and observe.If symptom persist, you see your GP for examination.
