Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic
I will keep a possibility of keratosis pilaris, which is accumulation of keratin around the follicular openings, the hair being trapped in the keratin deposit. Clinically they may appear as skin colored to hyperpigmented follicular bumps on extensor surfaces like buttocks, outer thighs, knee, elbows etc Keratosis pilaris are common in those who have an overall dry skin If I was the treating doctor I would asked you to use a moisturizer; a moisturizer with keratolytic ingredients like Urea, Lactic acid, Glycolic acid, Ammonium lactate is beneficial. An oral Vitamin A supplement once daily is also helpful in normalizing keratinization and shedding off accumulated keratin. I would suggest that you visit a dermatologist in your region for a confirmatory diagnosis as well as appropriate prescription.
