What Causes Painless Lump On Neck?

i have something like the size of a bean on the left side of my neck. i showed it to a doctor 2years ago and he gave me some drugs to use. i went back to him after i completeed those drugs and he told me that it will disappear late but it's been 2years now...it is still there but it doesn't hurt

Hi,
from history it seems that you might be having non specific enlarge lymph mode in the neck.
Nothing to worry as size remains same since long.
This might be due to some minor chronic infection in scalp,ear etc.
Ok and take care.
