What Causes Painless Paper Like Sensation In Throat?

My husband was recently diagnosed with malaria and treated effectively with injections and antibiotics. but now he feels a sensation of paperlike in his throat and which triggers vomitting. Whenever he eats this paperlike sensation causes him to vomit. its painless. What is it?

Hi.
Thanks for your query for your husband.
Noted the history related to the paperlike sensation without any pain in throat causing vomiting after getting treated foralaria.
This can be due to GERD, gastroesophageal reflux disease.
I would advise him:
PPl like omeprazole.
Antacid liq 3hourly.
Domperidone
No stress or anxiety.
Soft bland diet.
He will be fine.
