What Causes Painless Swelling Below The Tongue?

hi, underneath my tongue the 2 bumps attached the frenulum are larger than normal. They seem to be swollen. I cant move my tongue as far as I normally am able to because of this. Although I dont feel any pain, should I be worried? Or will it go away on its own?

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it can be a swollen Salivary Gland caused by infection or clogged duct with stones or can be due to formation of mucous cyst or Mucocele..

A confirmation can be made by consulting an Oral Physician and getting evaluated..
Treatment will be planned accordingly..

In case of clogged duct of salivary gland due to stone formation then removing the same by palpation of superficial stones can be done..
In case of deep stones surgical removal is advisable..

In case of Mucocele doing concentrated salt water rinses can help..
If does not resolve surgical removal is advisable..

Hope this information helps..

Regards..
