What Causes Pain, pressure And Soreness In Ear And Throat?
I ve been having a horrible pressure in my ears and throat for months which has, in the past three weeks, turned into pain and soreness. It is a constant thing and is only dimmed by taking Ativan. After an examination, my ENT suggested TMJ and put me on muscle relaxants. They did not help at all. He then took a look into my throat with a small scope and said that the very bottom of my throat looked red and puffy; he put me on acid blockers. First proposed, then nexium. They did not help either. He then suggested a gastro dr. I will be going to have an upper endoscopy in two weeks. The pain is fairly bad now, and oddly enough, only Ativan helps. Any ideas. I do have hpv, in case that s important.
