What Causes Pain, swelling And Darkness In My Penis?

Hi, about 3months ago when i got up in the morning i had an erection as most men do; therefore, i was trying to adjust and move my penis when i heard a cracking sound then immediately after that i lost my erection. two days later i had sex with my girlfriend and everything was good i had a very good erection, i didn t feel any pain during the sex and actually my penis looked bigger than usual. Now after 2 and a half months the pain is back in my corpus spongiosum, i m starting to see some darker areas in left side and bottom of my penis. the pain is bad i haven t visited a urologist yet but i m going to see one next week. can somebody tell me what s going on with my penis?

Hi,

It can be due to urinary tract infection, renal calculi giving you referred pain. Doing a urine complete ultrasound scrotum and pelvis can help diagnose.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. S. R. Raveendran, Sexologist
